About the event
Welcome, tributes. Your district has been chosen. Your name has been called. Now there’s only one question left: could you survive the Hunger Games? Join us for Passport to Panem: Welcome to the Games, an interactive evening that brings a little piece of Panem to life through nature, strategy, teamwork, and some friendly competition.
We’ll begin the evening with a special native plant talk from the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority, exploring local plants, their uses, and the importance of understanding the natural world around us, knowledge that suddenly becomes a lot more valuable when you’re headed into an arena. Then, it’s time for the Reaping. You’ll be assigned a district and meet the fellow tributes you’ll be competing alongside and against.
From there, you’ll enter our mock Hunger Games, competing in a series of safe, silly, and strategy-based challenges designed to test your knowledge, teamwork, problem-solving, and survival instincts. No…
